Antique authentic 45-70 leather cartridge box from the Indian Wars era - no fraying of stitching and no missing hardware -all buckles and straps are intact - cartridge canvas in good condition
This antique leather cartridge pouch was made in 1876 during the Indian Wars (1866-97) in the United States. It is an original item from that period and would make a great addition to any militaria collection. The pouch was made at the Watervliet Arsenal and is in excellent condition, with no damage or signs of wear. It would be perfect for display or for use in reenactments.
