What I am offering for you to admire is as follows:
Vintage Asian Scholar Monkey Bookends..  Both these bookends are pretty heavy for being only 5 1/2 inch tall.  They are setting down and reading books.  The bookends have Asian script symbol writing on them {see pictures}. The bottoms of the bookends have a black fabric over the opening.  The bookends are molded and hollow on the interior.
Condition:
Slight minor scratches and rubs, bottom fabric has a little wear.

Measures:
5 1/2 inch tall X 3 1/2 inch wide

All measurements are APPX. 

This is Antique/Vintage/Previously used so there are NO RETURNS UNLESS GROSSLY misrepresented...
