Chamfered oak closing bead for windows

17mm high x 15mm deep in English Oak. This chamfered window beading is 17mm high at the back which sits against the glass with the chamfered top edge dropping down to the 11mm high front edge allowing the rain to fall  from the window.

This listing is for three x 1.2 metre lengths. I have presently cut the lengths at 1.195 metres and you will be sent this  length unless you let me know the lengths you require.Made in our own workshops in Norfolk

Just because the softwood bottom bead has rotted doesn't mean you should go to all the trouble and expense of installing a new window when you might get away with just changing the beading to oak beading which will last for years. It might cost you maybe just  £10 instead of maybe £500 to supply and fit a new window. If you want this closing bead sent to you the cost is just £9 if you do not need lengths of any more than 1.19metres and this is the longest length I shall send. If you need longer lengths sent please message me as couriers charge significantly more for longer lengths to be sent, last time I checked the cheapest I could find was £28 ! if the length was 1.3 metre.  If you need a different size let me know and I will let you know if I can help and i shall list that one instead.

Other sizes are available including 13 x 13 with 6mm front edge and 12 x 12 with 6mm front edge each at £6 per metre. I also have machined up some lengths of a larger closing beading 18mm  x 16mm  with a 10mm front edge priced at £10 per metre.I will list them if you let me know.
