At the head's place there are 12 stars of the European Union. The euro symbol is depicted on the right and the left of the “talanto”. The phrase “ΚΥΠΡΟΣ ΔΕΚΑ ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΕΥΡΩ 2008-2018” is ircularly inscribed. The coin’s nominal value of €5 is also depicted.
