Former college library book. Typical markings and attachments.
Aside from library markings, the cover is in good to very good condition with light signs of use., which leads me to believe it may have been rebound by the library. If so it was a very good job. Cover material appears very durable. The pastedown title label is no doubt an original, as extra labels were laid in by the society. This copy is number 118 of the Memorial Edition which was limited to 700 copies.
The text is unmarked. Several pages were very roughly separated at the front edge leaving notches or flaps. But the text was not affected. At the other extreme many pages were not separated at all. Top page edges are gilt. There are four photogravure illustrations including the frontispiece, all with cover tissues intact. Binding is firm.
340 pages. 9.25 inches x 6.5 inches.
