VINTAGE WOODEN TALLENT OF BOND STREET SWISS CUENDET? CHEST SHAPE MUSICAL BOX

Vintage wooden musical box with brass straps by Tallent of Bond Street. 

It features a Swiss-made mechanism that plays Brahms' lullaby when the lid is lifted. 

The chest shape and intricate design make it an ideal decorative collectable for any music lover or collector of vintage/retro items. This item was manufactured in the United Kingdom between 1940 and 1969, and it is in excellent working condition. 

I cannot confirm that the musical movement is Cuendet as the tray is fixed in the box but 

many of the Tallent boxes have this Swiss musical movement.
