This Genuine BT / Openreach block terminal (with Logo) BT80b is primarily used by phone engineers such as BT to connect the thicker sized overhead cable from the telegraph pole to your thinner internal wiring.


Any large diameter or stranded cable (stranded cable should not be terminated in idc connectors) is terminated onto the screw terminals, your internal wires are then terminated into the idc connectors.

Both sets of terminals are marked A and B.


This block terminal measures approx' 55mm x 40mm x 23mm and is made of white ABS plastic.


Can be used for any low voltage command/control wiring where you need to terminate 2 different sized conductors.

You will need a punch down insertion tool (not supplied) for the IDC connectors.
