CONDITION: I absolutely LOVE this Schreiner set. It came from an estate of an avid collector who had mostly rare pieces. I honestly think this set was one of the favorites and worn but the owner. It's not perfect but most of the imperfections are hard to see or can't be seen unless magnified with a loupe. I would say good condition and with some stone TLC & cleaning, very good condition. The colors are just fantastic and even vary at times. I think the metal may have been gold-tone when new but has worn away over time. I think the current dark silver-tone, that looks almost black, looks much better than the gold-tone. Large clear oval & diamond shaped stones and round chocolate centers that often appear black. The vintage brooch is slightly misshapen and can be manipulated back into perfection if the new owner wants to do that. It's again not very noticeable when worn or even looking at it with the naked eye. The chocolate stones have some minimal normal age related wear including minor normal superficial surface scratches that will polish/clean up a lot. The oval clear stones are bright and beautiful from what I can see. If I missed a flea bite or chip, don't hold it against me! The diamond shaped stones are bright and clear but many do have flea bites & chips to the ends. Again, I can't see them unless they are magnified but the new owner can easily replace the chipped stones considering the lower purchase price making it very feasible. I am taking the imperfections into consideration when pricing the set so it can be restored back to absolute perfection if the buyer wants to do that.
