Black paper backed Rexine / Tolex type covering. Priced per metre and only available as single one metre pieces. No multi metre lengths are available as roll length is too long for standard couriers to handle. Piece supplied measures 50 inches wide (127cm) approx minimum ( often a few cm wider) by one metre (100cm or 38 & 1/4 inches approx). Your piece may be slightly bigger but never smaller than stated above.
This is standard black paper backed Rexine type covering for all wood box cabinets. Ideal for recovering and restoring vintage audio equipment such as Dansette and other wood box record players. Also suitable for other wood box covering such as gramophones and cutlery or fishing boxes. It has a raised vintage type grain and is a great choice for recovering all sorts of vintage boxes. This is a reproduction covering as original Rexine / Tolex has not been made for decades.
We recommend our linen backed coverings for stage cabinets such as amps or speaker cabinets where a linen is needed for durability.
An instruction sheet with helpful hints is included. We recommend the use of a P.V.A glue formulated for paper only. This is not PVA wood glue - do not use wood glue which will mark the surface. Do not use a contact adhesive.
IMPORTANT
Please note: Shipping is to UK only and only to areas that Evri will deliver to without surcharge this excludes Channel Is, Isle of Man, NI, Highlands and Islands and some other locations. If you are in one of these areas contact me and I may be able to make a listing with adjusted shipping for you. Sorry but we will not deliver to other locations or by other services. Delivery by Evri is the only budget option available. This is due to the long length of parcel which is too long for regular post services and other budget couriers.
The item is packed in a long strong card tube. We tape an empty tube to the package to act as a protector and stabilizer to assist in transportation through the Evri network. This tube is empty. Only the tube with the address will have the covering inside.
