      Mr. Worthen was Professor emeritus at Cornell University.

       This older textbook has excellent B&W photos of old farms, old equipment and techniques. While the science has added a lot to soil science from a farmer's point of view I doubt much has changed in terms of application of this knowledge.

   Very good condition, no marks other than a number stamped on the first page. Light staining to covers and text edges.
