This is a lovely pair of Japanese Satsuma vases.  They are decorated all over with irises and what appear to be wisteria flowers. They are from the late Meiji or early Taisho period.   The vases measure approx. 17 3/4" and 9" in diameter.  They are in very good condition with the exception of a few voids in the decoration that occurred during their creation.  Also there is a small bit of underglazed crud on one rim.  Please see the photos as they are part of the decoration.
