Very underrated speaker made by Celestion. The Modern Lead is a speaker you love or hate. Problem is people don't understand what it's pros are. In a trebley and mid heavy amp this speaker smoothes out the harshness. Yes it is an overly dark speaker, pretty much the predecessor to hemp cones. It also breaks up a bit later so in a bright hi gain amp it really works. Got a nostalgia for 80s crunch tones lacking the low roundness to em? try this speaker. Cone is excellent shape and so are hook up terminals. Also please don't pick UPS for shipping options as the nearest UPS shipping location is out of my way to get to and I'll have to cancel your order and retry again
