The Winco 2-Inch Dial Deep Fry/Candy Thermometer with a 12-inch probe is designed for precision cooking, featuring a dual temperature display in both Fahrenheit (100-500°F) and Celsius (40-260°C). It includes a built-in clip for easy attachment to pots and pans, making it ideal for deep frying and candy making. For accurate calibration, use a cold bath at 32°F (0°C). Fill a cup with ice, top off with cold water, and stir for 30 seconds. Insert the probe at least 1 inch deep and wait for 15 seconds or until the reading stabilizes. If it shows 32°F (0°C), no adjustment is needed. If calibration is necessary, use pliers to adjust the calibration nut at the bottom of the dial until it reads the correct temperature.
