Fits air cooled 1948 to 1979 VW Type one engines (see application chart)

This package comes with the parts below:

-The distributor is an IAP CHROME 009 distributor.  The cap will be red.  It is a direct replacement for a 009 Bosch centrifugal advance distributor (no vacuum used).  This CHROME 009 style of distributor is by far the most popular replacement for the stock vacuum advance distributors that came in air cool VWs

-BOSCH 00012 Coil with 3.3 Ohms primary resistance

-The ignition wires are a quality set of OEM replicas.  They are 8 mm silicone suppressor wires.  These are some of the better ignition wires we have seen in a while.
