Fabulous Low Cost Linn Sondek LP12 upgrade Newly manufactured top plate for the classic Linn LP12 turntable with 5 bolts and nuts plus optional motor corner bolt. Manufactured from the same grade stainless steel as the original, fitting this top plate creates a new fresh look for your LP12 with a couple of useful evolutions. The top plate has the benefit of being able to be fitted with or without a (motor) corner bolt. One is supplied if your deck had corner braces and the predrilled hole - but if you haven’t you can fit it without. It has also been designed to allow the easy fitment of the tachometer on the Valhalla Zeus power supply via a small slot which is hidden when the platter is in place, if you don’t need it. The textured powder coat finish is both attractive and highly durable and is not prone to scratching or attracting dirt and grease like the original. Although the photographs show the bolts fitted, the item will be supplied flat - with the nuts and bolts separate. You will therefore need tools - an Allen/Hex Key and a spanner - to fit this. I do have them in original stainless steel (silver finish) too, if you prefer the original look. If you want a silver one please send me a message when you place your order.
