The Reign Series of shafts from Matrix has been around for a number of years as a series of shafts exclusive to their club fitter network. Today they announced the “Created in California” Reign series done in limited quantities and each shaft is made exclusively at the Matrix R & D Center in Anaheim, CA.

“Manufacturing shafts under our own roof creates an unprecedented level of control over every aspect of the production process, and ensures that the strictest tolerance levels are met and maintained for every shaft”, states Matrix Shafts President, Chris Elson. “In addition, we have the unique opportunity to greatly increase the level of service to our customers by being able to quickly produce small batches of shafts in response to market demand”

Reign is created with features that are designed to fit a wide a wide variety of players and swing types. From aspiring amateurs to top-level professionals, the first three releases of the series are Reign Silver, Reign Blue, and Reign Smoke.

REIGN SILVER is a complete series of shafts available for woods, hybrids, and irons in a variety of weights and flexes. Engineered with Tour proven technology to create a high launch, mid-spin profile suitable for a wide range of players and swing types. Metal Woods: $195, Hybrids: $115 and Irons: $90

REIGN BLUE features mid-launch and spin characteristics for players looking for a well balanced, smooth feeling shaft. Designed with stiffer tip and butt sections for extra stability and a responsive mid-section to maximize speed and power at impact.

For a wide variety of swing types and speeds, 50g, 60g and 70g versions in a variety of flexes are available.
