This stunning Icey Green & White Jade carved Panda is a rare & beautiful piece.

In China, the giant panda symbolizes peace, friendship, and harmony. Pandas are also a symbol of national pride and conservation.

This type of Jade (or Jadite), is considered to be of a high class. It features both Green & White & is semi transparent. The piece is estimated to be vintage, but not antique, still developing a wax like feel (which indicates it is antique).

The bale is unmarked. I can only assume the stamp was on the original necklace. However, given it has been permanently fixed to jade of this value, I estimate it to be 14k White Gold, but have not factored this into the price, as I can't guarantee it without further testing being performed.
