This moulded crystal large serving plate was made by Mikasa, probably in Germany, in their Nadine pattern, featuring frosted tulip leaves and flowers. The upper surface is smooth, with a 17 mm foot rim, which raises it off the table surface. Please ignore the reflections in the photographs!

It has an extended rim above and outside the foot rim which includes frosted (or satin) tulip flowers and leaves which form part of the design. It's going to be perfect for desserts such as a Pavlova, and for large decorated gateaux and cakes. 

The plate is 3 cm (1 inches) tall, 35 cm (13.75 inches) in diameter from edge to edge of the upper rim, and weighs just under 2 kilos before packaging. The diameter of the completely flat upper surface is 28 cm (11 inches), so it will be suitable for a decorated cake made in a 25 cm (10 inch cake tin). 

There are no chips, cracks or nibbles, and very light surface wear. It has probably been used once, for a special occasion cake.
