Estate Fresh, very nice 1940's USMC Company Grade Officer Barracks/Service Cover by "The Berkshire" brand. The stitching on the brim and inner liner is completely intact. The only flaw is some dirt/staining, which could likely be cleaned by the new owner, but is not detracting as is. The EGA is a very fine N.S. Meyer model in Sterling Silver. It's a size 7 1/8 and is twice marked as such. The basket weave construction firmly dates this car to the WWII period. It also comes with a green/alpha cover as shown. This piece has some light mothing, but is otherwise in excellent condition. These are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this one is conservatively graded a 8 out of 10.
