I plugged it into my 1960's amp and it works. The case still looks good. Cord still looks good. 

Keep in mind that the jack on the cord will not work on some newer inputs. It would not work on my 2002 Vox amp but it did work on my 1963 Danelectro amp. It is due to the jack design or configuration.
