This vintage cauliflower coral specimen is a true beauty, measuring a generous 9 inches in length and 5.5 inches in height. Being such a large vintage specimen, this piece is a must-have for any collector of rocks, fossils, and minerals, as well as shells and coral. It dates to the 1960s - 70s. The unique cauliflower shape and large size will make it a standout addition to any collection!
The piece shows show a bit of aging and a few blemishes. Two arms of coral are broken off. They are clearly marked with arrows in the second and third to last photos. There is also a little bit of what I think is glue at the ends of a few of the coral arms. They are pictured with arrows in the last photo, though it's difficult to see. The glue substance is not repairing anything, so I'm not sure why it's there. I believe most of it could be removed with care. There is also glue on the bottom, surface touching edges, so it will not scratch furniture.
This is a really beautiful piece that will shine in any collection. Don't let it get away from you! Item will be very carefully packaged. Please ask if you have any questions! Thanks for looking!
