Yamaka China White Pink Hibiscus Dinner Plates Set of 4 Occupied Japan

This listing is for a set of four dinner plates from Yamaka China. The pattern features a pretty arrangement of white/pink hibiscus flowers and leaves. The Occupied Japan notation on the backstamp means this pattern was produced sometime between 1945 and 1952. The pattern is similar to one produced by Newcrest called Sonata.

Each is 10-5/8” diameter.

Condition: These plates have many light scratches (some that affect the decal), minor wear from stacking, and minor wear to the gold trim. The decals are somewhat worn, so are generally lighter than they may have once been. There may be some breaks in the decal. No chips, cracks, or repairs.

Shipping Method: I ship by USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the weight and destination. I am pleased to ship to APO/FPO addresses. If you are concerned about the shipping cost, please contact me before agreeing to purchase.

“Ship To” Address: Please make sure your payment source has your correct “ship to” address. If you request that I ship to a different address after you have paid, I will cancel the transaction and request that you correct the address before repurchasing. Similarly, I am happy to ship to a third party, as long as their address is the one provided at the time of payment.

Delayed Shipment Requests: Please do not request that I delay shipment by more than one business day. If you are traveling and have not set up your mail to be held for you, please contact me before purchasing. I ship my items in corrugated cardboard boxes, with packing peanuts and bubble wrap. Based on how I pack, double boxing is not necessary and has not been factored into the estimated shipping weight. If you would like me to double-box something, please contact me ahead of time.

Payment must be received within 4 days.

Returns: If you are not pleased with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days and it must arrive in “as sold” condition. Please retain all packing material and/or replace damaged bubble wrap with new if necessary, to ensure an undamaged returned item. Please contact me first before starting the return process so I can have the chance to resolve the issue.
