This is a beautiful piece of Datolite in Prehnite and Basalt with Copper specks. The pictures do not do the Copper specks justice. There are at least 30 copper specks. This piece is from Lake Superior in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. This piece would have been found in the water by SCUBA divers or on the shoreline when the water receeded. This piece is approximately 3" x 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" thick.
