We’ve custom-made pentagon-shaped pencils with a design symbolizing good fortune. The pencils are HB, and the pentagon shape (‘gokaku’ in Japanese) is a play on words with ‘gokaku,’ meaning ‘success’ or ‘passing an exam.


🟨What is Dazaifu 🟨
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a highly renowned shrine in Japan that enshrines the God of Learning, Tenjin, and is frequently visited by many Japanese students preparing for exams. Visitors write their wishes for academic success on wooden plaques called ema and offer prayers to Tenjin.
