Bukowski, Charles - Pulp - Black Sparrow Press: Santa Rosa, 1994 - First Edition / First Printing - No statement of later printings present on the copyright page as required in order to denote the first printing of the first edition. Title page printed in red and black as required.

“It wasn’t my day. My week. My month. My year. My life. God damn it.”

The book has some edge wear, rubbing, and very light soiling. The binding is firm but slightly askew. Internally there is no writing and two small creases to page corners. Overall a rather solid and attractive example of a notoriously fragile book. Bukowski’s last novel— a satirical work which academics now believe was influenced by the author’s mortality. This is the true first printing with the title page printed in red and black.
