A red Toad dressed with an oversized backpack and a headlamp, he is the leader of the Toad Brigade, a group of Toads that provides help to Mario in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (in these games, he is called the Toad Brigade Captain). He subsequently appears in Super Mario 3D World as a playable character in special levels called The Adventures of Captain Toad.
