of 325, it is signed and dated by the artist at the bottom lower left corner, signed
as “Ercel” and dated as “10/11/92” The
right lower corner has the number of copies “313/325” and the word “@Ercel.” It is printed on high quality 65 pound paper
with a 100% rag content.
It is a very large print:
25” high x 20 ½”
wide, the actual size of paper – for a wonderful statement piece on that
important wall.
23” high x 18”
is actual size of image.
The subject matter is an owl sitting on a tree stump in front of a dilapidated farmhouse, looks like old Florida landscape. The mastery of the creation of the owl and all items in the print are stunning, done by a true artist. If you collect owls, limited edition prints, Florida subject matter, this is definitely for you. Truly a beautiful unique present for yourself, or someone you love. Also included is a typed letter from the artist (14” x 8 ½”) about this fine art print – see last few photos. This work is not framed, you receive the actual work, and also a typed letter from the artist.
Very little if no fading in this fine work, the blacks are very dark and striking in the detail given to this beautiful print.
In very good to excellent vintage condition, there is a tiny dark mark (1/4”) on the very bottom lower left corner, and the is a very tiny stain 1/8” on the lower right corner. See last few photos.
About the Artist:
Mr. Jones is a well respected artist in Central Florida, USA. He executed the design for the coin/medal for the John Young Museum & Planetarium (Florida, USA) in year 1974 depicting the superimposed images of astronaut John Young, Seminole chief Seminole, and Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon.
