Bright red ruby is lab-created, its hardness is much higher than glass, therefore it is not scratched, still shiny, in perfect condition.

It should not be an expensive service, the ring's band is quite simple, and they will adjust the ring precisely according to your size. 

The old rings like this were made upon request, there was nothing like „universal ring chart“ at that time, so it was a bit difficult to place it for the actual US/EU ring charts. Please see the inner diameter of the ring for best ideas how big is the ring.
