The Ukrainian Yard postage block includes four stamps: “Squirrel”, ‘Bullfinches’, ‘Carolers’ and ‘Turkey’.The author of the stamp issue is Kost Lavro, a well-known Ukrainian illustrator whose works have been repeatedly included in the catalogs of children's book exhibitions in Bologna and Bratislava.The stamp block continues a series of stamps that tell the story of the many inhabitants of a Ukrainian village yard, depicted in the style of children's cartoon characters, as well as traditional rural household items and characteristic plants.
