| Notes: Jacket has minor shelf wear, binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. In February 2010, four members of the Cherokee Photography Club took on the difficult task of photographing and documenting the historic Reeves House on Elm Street in Olde Towne Woodstock prior to its proposed restoration. The home had been abandoned for quite some time and was in foreclosure, so the condition of the house and grounds was, to say the least, dilapidated. This condition was a true challenge for the visual and creative abilities of these photographers. The images were captured over a period of 60 days, allowing the photographers to pick the time of day, the lighting conditions, and the weather which they preferred. This flexibility resulted in a variety of images that illustrate many different moods, facets, details and representations of this historic home and grounds. On the pages that follow you will enjoy the highly successful and beautiful results of their creative visions and imaging talents. |
