The beautifully designed and handcrafted sterling silver .925 by Luis Mendez have filigree and micro fusion work are shaped like a three quareter moon and intricate silver piping circular designs and silver beads to enhance the look.  The Luis Mendez  artesanos (artisian)is noted for the Boton Charro design--refers to the somebody from the spanish province of Salamanca.   The earring have a leverback, a 925 marking around the same area  and are about 1 1/2 drop, 1 1/4 at widest point.  You can find out more about the designer at www.luismendez.net.  The earring weigh 8 grams on my scale.
