Retractable Flexi dog leads never slacken as there is always slight tension on the tape. You are always able to command and control your dog thanks to the short stop braking system. It responds quickly and reliably thanks to the convenient brake button. It is easy to use with one hand and the braking system also has a permanent stop function which allows you to fix the flexi lead at a certain length. In addition thanks to the tape guidance system, the tape can be extended in all directions without getting jammed.
Flexi's xtreme dog leads have been designed for overly vivacious or excited dogs. The lead has a comfortable, ergonomic handle which is adjustable to ensure a good grip and comfort during use. The tape lead has been reinforced (flexi® X11-Tape) to withstand intense usage and has been rigorously tested for your pets safety. The tape also has includes an integrated elastic, soft stop element to reduce strain to both you and your dog during use.
The Flexi dog lead has been designed to be both compact and stylish and has a chrome snap hook to attach to your dogs harness. The leads can be customised using the Multi Box and LED lighting accessories (sold separately) for small models and larger.
According to the manufacturer's specifications the Flexi dog leads are designed to be used for dog's weighing:
XS: 3m tape (10ft) for dogs weighing up to 15KG (33Ibs)
Small: 5m tape (16ft) for dogs weighing up to 20KG (44Ibs)
Medium: 5m tape (16ft) for dogs weighing up to 35KG (77Ibs)
Large: 5m tape (16ft) for dogs weighing up to 65KG (143Ibs)
Large: 8m tape (26ft) for dogs weighing up to 55KG (121Ibs)
For your pets safety it is strongly recommended not to attach a retractable/extendable dog lead to your dog's collar around their neck. This is because serious injury can occur if for example your dog is running and is suddenly stopped by the lead's brake, which can whiplash their neck in the opposite direction. It is advised to use a harness when using a retractable/extendable lead.
