I bought this in India in 1969

It weighs 2 lbs and the inside bowl part is separate

this was a hinged ankle bracelet originally and converted to an ashtray

the brass innerplate was added later to use as an ashtray

THIS WAS AN ANTIQUE WHEN I BOUGHT IT

There was originally a pushpin mechanism closure

measures 6 1/4" wide by 1 3/4" tall

bowl is engraved " INDIA" on the bottom
