Axle Information

PREM (premium sets w/ disc brakes)- sets include hollow axles

All other sets include standard fixed axles.

Fitment Tip

Most 1:64 hws/mbx cars use 25mm axles
Some may require slight trimming or longer axles depending on build

Some models need shorter axles. If so, you can trim the 25mm axle tubes down only with a Dremel cut-off wheel (cutting with pliers will pinch the ends closed).

A few cars need longer axles — 25mm won’t work. For these, 28–30mm axles should fit.

*PLEASE NOTE*
When it comes to custom builds or wheel swaps, it’s impossible to know the exact axle size for every car chassis—wheel style also affects fitment. Most of the time, you won’t know for sure until you test-fit your axles and wheels on the car. Ideally, axle tubes should sit flush with the wheel faces. If they’re too long, you can trim them back to reduce slack, but don’t cut past that point or the wheels will bind once the end pins are installed.
