Victor Moscoso is one of the “Big Five” psychedelic poster artists and the first to create his own series of posters. Neon Rose was created in 1966. There are a total of 26 posters in the series, utilizing vibrant colors in unique, eye striking combinations. 

Featured here is one of his classics, small quantities of which were recently unearthed from a significant poster collection:

·      NR–17: “The Blushing Peony” was a clothing store on Haight Street and the owner commissioned Victor Moscoso to design this image to promote their store. Eric King identifies this version of the poster as NR-17-OP-1.

Mint / Near Mint - See Photos. Rich, deeply saturated ink colors and crisp corners. The poster was originally purchased from Psychedelic Solutions, NYC and has remained wrapped in its original packaging and stored flat for 50 years.
