Jonathan Sharp of The Heartwood Institute emailed the library of the occult after discovering the lost reels for the original soundtrack to the euro erotic thriller ‘Die Nude For Satan’ With the help of Jonathan these have now been restored and available to the public for the first time and Henning Zinoviev and floating candles score lives again!’
Bad-trip heaviness and folk horror, exploitation soundtracks and sinister synths, all folded into one long, inscrutable nightmare. Sharp left turns abound – this might very well be what ‘psychedelia’ implied all along. Here’s a strange brew of sex, chills and dark magick, a lost score made for fantasies both chilling and alluring.

Library Of The Occult
Psilowave are ecstatic to welcome Library Of The Occult to our dark coven of represented labels. Library Of The Occult is a U.K.-based record label that offers soundtracks for late night incantations, world building, and mystical realms. Label owner Tom McDowell has been pushing the limits of dark synth and imagined soundtracks since he first began making music as Dream Division. He expects nothing less from his own record label. Since its introduction in the summer of 2020 we have seen new music from Dream Division, Ogre, and Timothy Fife that has delved into classic Gothic literature, occult themes, D&D, and contact with worlds beyond our own. Each release is a chapter in an ongoing tale of the beyond, curated for those that seek what's behind the veil. Every album is an artist locking into synth-heavy worlds, establishing all-encompassing musical narratives which share a common goal of atmosphere and dark escape. Library Of The Occult invites you to delve into their analog tales, spin their black circles, and follow along as they form a musical yarn for the ages.

Please note – Our grading categories and descriptions differ slightly to the Goldmine and VRG standards so please read carefully. A PLUS or MINUS suffix denotes a very slight improvement or degradation to the attributed grading but not enough to raise or lower the item to the grading category above or below it.Record age is immaterial to its condition. Sleeve may have some very minor wear to faces, edges or corners of covers. |
| Very Good [VG] | A well cared for used record. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have scuffs or light scratches. May have some very light surface noise or isolated crackles and pops. Labels may be marked lightly. Sleeve may have some ring wear, moderate wear to edges and corners, light creases or stress lines, and other minor defects. |
