Paul Louis Bolot (1918-2003) Member of the Modernist School of the 20th century.

 Studied in the decorative arts of Paris in 1936. He will be part of the famous group "Espace" in the 1950s of André Bloc which brings together many artists, including: Sonia Delaunnay, Fernand Léger, Serge Poliakoff, Jean Prouvé, Victor Vadarely, as well as his friend the sculptor Maxime Descombin. 

It was defined as a lyrical constructivism with tender colors, sometimes a simple line. Loving the order and construction of space. 

In 1948 he exhibited at the Lyon Autumn Fair and was noticed by the criticism of art René Deroudille. 

The same time, he attended Marcel Michaud founder of the group "Testimony".
