This is a Platner Coffee Table, model 3714T, originally designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This early example dates to the late 1960s. The design features a nickel-chromed steel base, and has a glass top with beveled edge. The base is constructed of steel rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods. It is truly a work of art in itself. The price listed is for one table. Two tables are available.

The table measures 36 inches in diameter and is 15.25 inches high. The base of this piece is patinated and oxidized. The buyer may request further restoration or powder coating if so desired. The glass top is clean and is in nice condition. Overall, this table is in good vintage condition with some signs of age apparent. Please see photos.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
