The LR041435 fuel tank shield is fitted to the underside of the fuel tank on Range Rover Evoque Mk1 (L538) models. Its purpose is to protect the plastic fuel tank from damage caused by road debris, stones, and impacts from rough terrain. Over time these shields can corrode or become damaged, particularly on vehicles used regularly in harsh road conditions, making replacement necessary to maintain proper protection of the fuel system.

This shield mounts directly to the bottom of the fuel tank assembly using the original fixing points and is designed to match the shape and coverage of the factory-installed part.

Important:
This shield does not fit 2.0 Diesel models fitted with an AdBlue tank, as those vehicles use a different underbody layout and shield arrangement. Vehicles fitted with the 2.0 AJ200 diesel engine and AdBlue system use a different shield arrangement, typically requiring LR122800 together with LR071883 instead.
