14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel - is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills . An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - hawkbill type with an aggressive shape, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles, and then covered with a black coating. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the blade a slight recess where we can place our thumb for more precise work. The whole is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - grips made of G10 composite , practically indestructible plastic, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Handle texture, in addition to aesthetic impressions, also has a purely practical use improving grip reliability. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, fastened together with steel spacer sleeves, facilitates cleaning. The simple, sturdy design gives assurance of many years of use. Deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip security. A single-position (right) deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
