DESCRIPTION:

100% complete, with over 500 plus individual pieces (527 to be exact) this mid-20th century American vintage, circa 1968 jigsaw puzzle of the work and much celebrated oil on canvas titled 'Convergence' by the American Abstract Expressionist painter Jackson Pollack, from the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo, New York and produced by Springbok of New York, NY, is in very well preserved overall vintage condition, less some incidental edge wear and minor scuffing found on the extreme margins of the color lithographed paper wrapped heavy cardstock puzzle box. Touted as the 'world's most difficult jigsaw puzzle,' it's a very complex and difficult puzzle to solve and to successfully complete, challenging even the most experienced of puzzle veterans. The bottom of the cardboard box features printed text about the painting 'Convergence' by Jackson Pollack, complete with a printed reproduction of his well-known signature and some abbreviated history of the famous work of art and where it's presently found, in the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Now quite scarce. Very cool, 1968 cool

Box has a small repaired tear on lid (taped on underside)
