This listing includes a new AudioControl LC2i PRO 2-channel active line output converter and line driver with ACR-1 remote control designed to work with most factory systems.

Every make, model, and year of vehicle is different, so installation of an upgraded sound system can be tricky. Most factory radios today are so much more than just a radio- they’re generally the command center for the vehicle. Changing them can be very expensive, (if it’s even possible) and you usually don’t get much of an improvement in sound. With industry leading features such as our Load Matching Circuit, intuitive channel summing, patented AccuBASS® compensation, GTO™ Signal Sense, signal delay and EQ, AudioControl active line output converters are the go-to choice for OEM integration.

LC2i PRO is an active, high-voltage OEM line converter. This compact, two-channel processor with active input circuitry, accepts speaker-level signals of up to 400-watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. It then converts the speaker-level signals to high-quality pre-amp signals that can be directed to after market processors and/or amplifiers. The LC2i PRO features a 3-way input load selector, for improved factory system integration, and an ACR-1 Remote Level Control for adjusting the Bass output signal from the driver's seat.

Features:

High-quality line output converter
Looking for great sound from your factory radio? Would you like to upgrade your car's premium system? AudioControl's LC2i PRO line output converter takes amplified speaker-level signals and converts them into high-quality preamp signals that can be fed to another processor or amplifier. In other words, it lets you create an awesome car audio system without disturbing your factory controls or features.

Get your bass back
Some factory radios dial down the bass as you turn up the volume to protect their speakers. The problem is, they don't give it back when you upgrade to a nice set of aftermarket speakers. AudioControl packs the LC2i PRO with their AccuBASS™ circuitry that reverses the factory bass rolloff, giving you the bass you need to enjoy your music to the fullest. Place the LC2i PRO between your factory system and your bass amp, and you'll hear a huge difference in bass response.

High-voltage signal for great sound
Some premium systems use multi-wire speaker cables for systems with multiple speakers. The LC2i PRO features two speaker-level inputs that let you connect amplified signals up to 400 watts, including cables from Bose® and other premium factory systems. The LC2i then sends out a high-powered preamp signal — up to 9.5 volts RMS — that helps every amp perform to its maximum ability.

Convenience
The optional dash-mount remote control allows you to adjust the level of your sub channel on the go. The speaker-level inputs sense incoming signals and turn on the LC2i PRO, while a built-in 12-volt trigger tells your amps or other gear to turn on when you start your car.

LC2i PRO Features

Compact Chassis Design

This active, high-voltage OEM line converter features a compact chassis for an unobtrusive installation.

Two Channel Speaker-Level Input
Accepts up to 400-watt per channel signals. The two-channel line-output converter features removable set-screw Phoenix terminals for quick connection.

9.5V Preamp Outputs
Equipped with 9.5-volt RMS (13-volt peak) preamp outputs w/ level matching controls. It features a pair of Main preamp outputs (for full-range amplifiers) and a pair of Bass preamp outputs (for subwoofer amplifiers).

Line Driver
Features a set of RCA pre-amp inputs that can provide additional signal boost if needed. This is especially helpful when connecting to an older head-unit with a lower pre-amp output voltage.

Level Control & Maximized Indicator
The pre-amp output level can easily adjust to its optimum level using the Level dial and Maximized LED indicator. As the Level control is turned up during playback, the Maximized LED will light to indicate the signal is close to clipping and will need to be backed down from that point. This allows you to get the loudest clean signal out to your amp without distortion.

Load Select
This slide-switch lets you select one of three input loads to best match the factory system, preventing it from muting the output with no load detected.

Trigger Mode
Three methods of activation, via a 3-way switch:

Ground Isolation Switch
Three signal-ground options are provided for eliminating grounding noise problems:

AccuBass
AccuBass processing automatically corrects for the bass roll-off that is common with many factory installed audio systems. AccuBass Bass Compensation works at any volume level.

Threshold and Level Controls
Allow users to optimize the bass response to match their speaker system.

GTO (Great Turn On)
The LC2i PRO utilizes selectable GTO auto sensing turn-on circuitry so no remote wire is needed. The LC2i PRO turns on using the unit's speaker-level inputs. It also provides a 12-volt trigger output to turn on your amplifier.

Power Connections
The LC2i PRO requires a hardwired power and ground connection to your vehicle's 12-volt electrical system. The line-output converter features removable set-screw Phoenix terminals for quick connection.

Remote Level Control
Includes an ACR-1 wired remote level control for adjusting the Bass Output from the front seat. A 16.5' cable, terminated in RJ-14 connectors, is provided for connection.

Mounting
Integrated mounting flanges to mount the unit under a seat, in the trunk, or under the dash. No mounting hardware is supplied.

AudioControl Warranty Policy
AudioControl products are designed, engineered, and tested at our facility located in the Pacific Northwest, USA. Given our huge commitment to quality, AudioControl comfortably warranties all materials and workmanship on our products for a period of five years from the date of purchase, provided it is installed by an authorized AudioControl dealer. Should you choose to install it yourself, your warranty is one year from the date of purchase from an authorized AudioControl dealer.

A Few Words About Warranties
People are scared of warranties. Lots of fine print. Months of waiting around. Well, fear no more, this warranty is designed to make you rave about us to your friends. It’s a warranty that looks out for you and helps you resist the temptation to have your friend, “…who’s good with electronics”, try to repair your AudioControl product. So go ahead, read this warranty, then take a few days to enjoy your new AudioControl processor before registering the warranty card and comments.

“Conditional” doesn’t mean anything ominous. The Federal Trade Commission tells all manufacturers to use the term to indicate that certain conditions have to be met before they’ll honor the warranty. If you meet all of these conditions, we will warranty all materials and workmanship on your AudioControl product for one year from the date you bought it from an authorized AudioControl dealer (five years if it is installed by an authorized AudioControl dealer). We will fix or replace it, at our option, during that time.

Here Are The Conditional Conditions

1.  You have to go online and register your AudioControl products. Alternatively, you may fill out the Warranty Registration card that came with your product and mail it to us.

2.  You must keep your sales receipt for proof of purchase showing when and from whom the unit was bought. We’re not the only ones who require this, so it’s a good habit to get into with any major purchase.

3.  Your AudioControl products must have originally been purchased from an authorized AudioControl dealer. You do not have to be the original owner, but you do need a copy of the original sales slip.

4.  You cannot let anybody who isn’t: (A) the AudioControl factory; (B) somebody authorized in writing by AudioControl to service your product. If anyone other than (A) or (B) messes with your AudioControl product, that voids your warranty.

5.  The warranty is also void if the serial number is altered or removed, or if your AudioControl component has been used improperly. Now that sounds like a big loophole, but here is all we mean by it. Unwarranted abuse is: (A) physical damage (don’t use it to level your RV); (B) improper connections (120 volts AC into a 12 volt DC power jack can fry the poor thing); (C) sadistic things (your imagination is best kept private).. This is the best product we know how to build, but if you mount it to the front bumper of your car or use it as a counter-weight for your daughter’s trebuchet project, something will go wrong.

6.  If an authorized United States AudioControl dealer installs your component, the warranty is five years.

Assuming you conform to 1 through 6, and it really isn’t all that hard to do, we get the option of fixing your old unit or replacing it with a new one. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact AudioControl and we will issue an RA (Return Authorization) number and provide shipping instructions. Products received at AudioControl without an RA number will be refused.

Legalese Section
This is the only warranty given by AudioControl. This warranty gives you specific legal rights that vary from state to state. Pomises of how well your AudioControl component will perform are not implied by this warranty. Other than what we have covered in this warranty, we have no obligation, express or implied. Also, we will not be obligated for direct or indirect consequential damage to your system caused by hooking up your AudioControl component.

Failure to properly register your AudioControl warranty may negate any service claims.

Additional Notes
We recommend having a professional certified technician handle the installation. For any questions or concerns about the product, please contact us through the "Contact Seller" feature for technical support or customer assistance.
