The book has trivial edge wear and a bookplate on the front paste down but is otherwise an easily near fine copy. The boards are sharp and straight, the lettering on the spine is unblemished, the binding is square and firm, and internally there are no markings or writing. The dust jacket has some edge wear most noticeable around the spine ends, sunning to the spine, and a touch of soiling but presents very nicely. A most handsome copy. This example has a tipped in signature on the front end page. The signature was obtained at a fundraiser for children with developmental disabilities which our research indicates was held in 1988. An uncommon and highly desirable Presidential signature on what is likely his most important book.
