This is a Pedestal Dining Table, Model 164W, originally designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. This particular piece was produced in the USA in the 2010s. The base is formed of molded cast-aluminum which is coated in a white finish. Its top is made of ebonized wood with a sub-base beneath. The top is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. The Knoll stamp is present on the bottom of the aluminum base. This table comfortably seats six people.
This piece measures 54 inches diameter, and is 28.25 inches tall. The base has minimal scuffing, and the top’s edge is not chipped. The surface of the tabletop shows some small scratches. Overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
