The MIL CC is Sordin’s MIL-graded hearing protector that are equipped with a boom microphone and heavy duty down lead for connection to U174 (TP-120) PTT adapters. The headset provides high noise reduction yet with a slim design. The level dependant feature reproduces ambient noise into the ear cups and at the same time automatically protects the user from impulse loud sounds like a gun shot. This provides total situational awareness allowing you to communicate effectively and safely while hearing commands and instructions without removing the hearing protector.

Boom Microphone & Downlead

The Sordin MIL CC Slim features an electret microphone with flexible boom arm (6.3" / 160mm long) which has a robust design for tough environments and excellent noise cancelling capabilities. The headset can be connected to a PTT adaptor and radio through a heavy duty down lead (16" / 410mm long) with a waterproof Nexus TP-120 connector.

Required PTT adaptor: NATO wired, standard U174 (TP-120) PTT adaptor (No amplification)

Updated Headband with Easy Connection to Helmet Rail Systems

The slim headband is designed for use under ballistic helmets. The MIL CC Slim also allows for an easy transfer to a helmet mounted headset. This will require a set of Sordin/helmet adapters and the cutting of the leather wrap connecting the 2 cups. A replacement headband wrap is required when you want to go back to a headband version.
