“On our way, our troops located south of Lake Ladoga went on the offensive against the Nazi troops siege of  Leningrad .Overcommitting exceptionally stubborn enemy resistance, units of the Red Ariana occupied the city of Shlisselburg, Sinyavino and Podgornaya stations and a number of other populated areas. 

After seven days of fighting, Volkhovsky's troops and Leningrad fronts united and thereby broke the siege of Leningrad. Glory to the soldiers of the Red Army!
