Botryoidal formations of fluorite are somewhat uncommon in the world of minerals, so this find caused a sensation when specimens came into the market more than ten years ago.
This cabinet size specimen is a great example with a standing blade of the botryoidal fluorite creating a sculptural formation with very good luster. It is mostly undamaged and stands perfectly for display with a natural (not sawed) bottom. The edges of the specimen are translucent when backlit. The fluorescence is dim.
