CONDITION: Royal Blue is one of Fenton's most striking early colors. This #1934 decanter in the Royal Blue color is an exceptional example. 1934 decanters were introduced by the Fenton Art Glass company in the 1930s following the end of prohibition. Our lovely decanter is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION (like new) without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The color is amazing which you can see from our photographs. Floral stoppers are often found damaged due to the sharp points on the petals. We have carefully checked these for damage and can assure you that the stopper is damage free. The bottle is nice and clear and free of residue or cloudiness. You won't go wrong adding this lovely item to your Fenton or vintage barware collection.
Royal Blue / Cobalt (1921 - 1930s) - Royal Blue was a transparent cobalt color that has been associated with Fenton since early Carnival Glass production. This beautiful cobalt color was used as a base for early Carnival and Stretch Glass items. Clear Royal Blue has been confirmed as early as 1924. Production of Royal Blue was extended into Fenton's pattern lines in the 1930s.
Number 1934 Decanter Set (1934 - 1938) (Crystal, Amber, Royal Blue, Ruby, French Opalescent) - The No. 1934 decanter set was one of a several of liquor sets Fenton created to celebrate the demise of prohibition. This beautiful floral stopper decanter set was often sold with a floral embossed tray. The sets are often found with silver rings.
