This is a 1994 carving of a Native American by Wilbert Kady who signs his pieces with the spelling his grandfather used: Kay-Dih.  He titles it "The Last Resistance".  The sculpture is on a wooden stand and measures about 7 1/2" tall, 7" wide and the stand makes it about 2 1/2" deep.  Most of the imperfections were in the stone before it was carved.  There are a couple of small scratches that may or may not be original to this piece and can be seen in photos #1 & #3.  In researching, I found that the artist sells his sculptures for $2,000 to $3,500.  Galleries sell them for the same prices.  The Bio on his website says: “My name is Wilbert Kady, born in 1964. My nationality is full blood Navajo born in Farmington, New Mexico and raised in TeecNosPos, Arizona. My kinship clans are Towering House and Many Goats. I sign my sculptures with my grandfather’s Indian name “Kay-dih”, which translates into “the last born in his family”.
