This listing is for a “brand new” pair of alternator brushes (A & B brush set with holders).  As many of you Yamaha Seca & Maxim owners probably already know, your bike's alternator brush set may need to be replaced every 12,000 to 15,000 miles on the average. Thankfully, it's a relatively easy job to perform. 

Don’t get caught on a trip without having an extra set in your tank bag! If your voltage meter is reading below 13.5 volts when fully warmed up, it might be a good idea to start here before spending big money on voltage regulator/rectifiers or stator rebuilds.  Please email us if you have any other questions….

Replace brushes if carbon brush is 7mm. (0.276") or less.
